Once again we visited the Faye Whittmore Farms in Jasper for the Pumpkin Patch! Everyone had a great day and the weather could not of been better! Thank you Lord for such a wonderful time together!

Lord, open my mind so I can learn new things about you. Remove the things in my life that don't please you. Forgive the wrong things I do and help me to forgive others. Open my eyes to see the beauty You've made in the world around me. I'm sorry for the times I've turned my nose at the good food You provide. Let everything I say please You. Vacation Bible School 2011!
At Shake It Up Cafe, we explored the Bible as a cookbook filled with recipes for living out God's word. By celebrating the biblical festivals, the children discovered secret ingredients that will help them to follow God.
We all had a great time! Thank you for sharing the special week with us it was FANTASTIC!

Easter 2011
 
He is RISEN!!!
The kids had a GREAT Easter provided by the congrregation,
who stuffed egg after egg, and then some!
They were everywhere! The kids went home with plenty of candy and plenty of fun. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Father Daughter Dance
After a spaghetti dinner, fathers and their daughters
 put on their dancing shoes! The Dad's were given a
trophy and a gift made special by the girls.
The theme was "Your My Shining Star",
and they all did shine.
 
Thank you Dad's for making this event special for your little girls.
 
         Mother & Son Tea
 
 
Mother's and son's spent time together at the tea,
in celebration of Mother's Day.
They enjoyed finger foods, were read a poem, and then each mom
was presented with a gift made by the boys.

Kindergarten - Faye Adamson & Brandi Orear
1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th, and 5th Grades will rotate between
the computer lab, the Bible Story on DVD, and crafts.
The 4th week, the children will group together in the Children's Centre to work on projects for our community.

National of Day of Prayer 2011
 
 
 
    Our Children and parents met at City Lake for the
National Day of Prayer May 5th, 2011.
We had a wonderful breakfast (provided by the Methodist Men) and then joined in a circle to pray.
The children did a GREAT job praying for others! It was an AWESOME day!
