Our Mission
The United Methodist Church is very purposeful about it's calling from God and it's mission in the world: "The mission of the Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by proclaiming the good news of God's grace and by exemplifying Jesus' command to love God and neighbor, thus seeking the fulfillment of God's reign and realm in the world." (The Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church, 2004. p.87)
First United Methodist Church of Haleyville is seeking to respond to God's calling to make disciples of Jesus Christ by existing as a church that seeks to live out in thought, word and action the following mission and vision statement.
